Healthy Ideas for Hectic Days

🎄 It’s the most wonderful time of the year .. but it can also be the most busiest and stressful time too..

Don’t let stress derail you from all your hard efforts that you have been putting into place during the year.. here are some ideas that may keep you on track and stop you from driving to that takeaway window !!

1. Cook ahead.. when you have time to cook, make a little extra and pop into containers in fridge or freezer for when you know you won’t be home.

2. Stock your cupboards with foods for simple quick meals.. eg whole wheat or GF pastas, rice, beans or cans of tuna, ready made pasta sauces ( get to know your ingredients on the labels and look for low sodium and no trans fats )

3. Look for shortcuts.. stores have bags of prewashed and chopped vegetables which are ready to go. These are perfect for when you can’t be bothered to prep..

4. Google and research recipes .. There are literally dozens and dozens of easy, quick, healthy recipes on the internet .. write a list of them up and try new ones each week.
